August 28 开学啦^_^不知不觉来Tallahassee(塔拉哈西)已经两周有余了，渐渐安顿好自己，终于迎来了开学的日子。想起入境时检查行李时，那个官员看到我身上的毕业衫上的All Under My Control，我跟他解释我的专业是Automatic Control，这是我们的口号，就这样带着毕业的伤感和自豪，来到了新的环境，相信一切都会像四年前开始一样，慢慢的适应，慢慢的应付自如。 稍感意外的是，本来说好的RA变成了TA，而且是两门课，以前都没上过，所以这学期可能会比较辛苦。但是转念一想，也好，锻炼自己的口语和交流能力， 又何乐而不为呢? 在塔城感受蓝天白云，感受窗外绚丽的夏日阳光，感受室内强劲的空调，感受公共交通的不发达，感受MALL的奢华，感受海边抓螃蟹的乐趣，感受校园里橄榄球的激情，感受夜晚的满天繁星蛙鸣鸟啼。也许不久之后也会像这里的师兄师姐们一样，觉得这里的生活太平静了，boring，但不论未来如何，既来之，则安之。 末了，发了几张照片，大家来看看塔城吧  August 25 汇报近况买了惠普的本本，HP Pavilion dv1505us，rebates+税后650刀。 手机也买了，5人的family plan，verizon，LG的手机，买一送三，实际费用9刀。 家里网络没通，暂时还是没法发照片。 August 16 终于可以用中文输入法啦^_^哈哈  不过QQ还是用不了哦，只有web msn messenger 可以上 还在考虑买什么牌子的笔记本好，IBM 太贵，DELL听说不太好，发现TOSHIBA和ACER 倒真是便宜。真令人苦恼哦  August 15 Chinese still unavailable:(I am sorry that Chinese input is still unavailable here. So Mom and Dad, I am not sure that when you could know my situation exactly. Sorry~~ Yesterday is Sunday. We took a bus to downtown, getting around the Tallahassee museum, city hall, kinds of churchs, etc. It feels much better going around. Since it's the capital of Florida, maybe we will find more fun. Today I have met the chair of IE. He encourages us four Chinese new enrollers to stick to IE and work hard. These years, IE is not as hot as IT, accounts, etc. But when it always changes, IE seems to be stable. Maybe what he said is right, and the same is what Wei Xiao said. He told us many things to take care, especially to our Chinese students. For example, the reason that they enroll 5 Chinese mainland students, much differrent from the past years, is that they hope Chinese students will rebuild that their trust to Chinese students. We'd better go on our PhD study here, no transfering unversity or departments. The good news is that we probably could get our PhD in 4 years, on the premise that we work hard. For Chinese, if you want to find a good job, you should work hard and behaves higher than US citizens. US is fair, but that's the rule of the game. Hope to enjoy the life in Tallahassee, though seemingly somewhat boring. Dear all, keep in touch with me by msn. I am sorry that the temporary input is English only. I will get my mobile phone on Wednesday or Friday. I will buy the notebook as soon as possible. If anyone could give me any advice to buy a cheap and useful notebook, please do me a favor.
